My design journey at GRUBER-reisen: Unforgettable projects and creative challenges

My time at GRUBER-reisen, a company with over 50 years of experience and headquarters in Graz Puntigam, was an inspiring stage of my design journey. GRUBER-reisen acts both as a tour operator and as the operator of numerous travel agencies. As a provider of unforgettable travel experiences worldwide - from package tours to city trips and bus trips to luxury cruises - they offer the right dream vacation for every taste. Despite the challenge posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, I was able to realize a few projects there.

design of the Premium Selection catalog

In close cooperation with the tour operator's team, the exclusive "Premium Selection" catalog was created, which presents exquisite 5-star hotels and unparalleled offers in various countries. My responsibility included the design of the cover and the introductory pages as well as the completion and uploading to a catalog program in which the catalog was also prepared for production. This process was implemented in other catalogs.

Rejuvenation for the quarterly supplement and posters

We also gave a quarterly supplement, which is regularly published in the Kleine Zeitung, a makeover. Our aim was to create a consistently harmonious and trendy design in order to achieve an impressive magazine look. I also designed posters for the travel agency branches. Last but not least, I developed a large 16-sheet poster advertising a holiday at BRETANIDE on the island of Brač, which was posted across Styria.
